why we give
"Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver."
Paul's word to the Corinthians is still the heartbeat of how we give at The Heart Church. A few things we want to hold onto from this verse:
Giving is purposeful. "As he has decided in his heart" — real generosity doesn't happen by accident. It's given to a purpose, on purpose. We invite you to bring intentionality to what you give and why you give it.
We hold nothing back. When we understand what God has done for us, there's no corner of our lives — including our finances — we want to keep from His purposes. We give freely because we've received freely.
We give because we love God, not because we have to. No one here will ever pressure you. Giving isn't a tax, and it isn't a measure of your standing in this house. It's a response to who He is.
We give with joy. A cheerful giver isn't someone who gives without thought — it's someone who gives with a grateful heart. We get to be part of something God is doing here in Colorado Springs and beyond.

Since our launch in March 2024, The Heart Church has seen over 60 salvations and 30 baptisms — and given more than $35,000 through six trusted ministry partners toward local relief efforts, national church planting, and global gospel outreach. From feeding and housing neighbors right here in Colorado Springs to planting churches and reaching homes around the world, your generosity is multiplying far beyond our walls.
